Recycled plastic pumber (RPL)
is a wood-like product made from recovered plastic or
recovered plastic mixed with other materials.
Some advantages to plastic lumber:
- is made from
recycled material and can be recycled at the
end of its use.
- Iasts longer
than wood.
- requires no
maintenance.
- resists
moisture and chemicals.
- doesn’t
splinter or crack.
- is
impervious to insects and bacteria.
Although plastic
lumber costs more than wood to purchase, when
you take into account it’s other advantages,
such as no maintenance and a longer-life, it can
be cheaper than wood. |
